The Assistant Director of Admission supports students in completing their graduate school applications so they can further their career goals! No two students are the same so our work is endlessly fascinating. Our Admission office offers a fast-paced environment with colleagues who are passionate about St. Catherine University and helping students achieve their goals. This role will manage a portfolio of applications and connect them with subject matter experts in their degree programs to learn more. This position is eligible for a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote and campus-based working hours. Responsibilities include:

This role will manage a portfolio of applications and connect them with subject matter experts in their degree programs to learn more. This position is eligible for a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote and campus-based working hours. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and review application to determine whether they meet qualifications including reviewing transcripts and other records, administeringCASsystems, working efficiently in a high-volume admission environment.
- Leverage technology resources to improve the speed of processing, and assist in the awarding of institutional scholarships, managing student communications in the SlateCRMplatform.
- Independently manage admissions processes and services for a
portfolio of graduate programs including:
- Coordinating admission decisions with graduate programs.
- Acting as the admissions liaison with program directors, committee members and other faculty.
- Leading and guiding their admissions work.
- Creating and nurturing collaborative relationships.
- Serve as the University point of contact for applicants for all services from the University like admission procedures, academic program information, financial aid, tuition and fees, student services, etc.
- Serve student in one-on-one interactions via appointments in-person, phone, and virtual. Serve students in group settings like information sessions and events hosted by the University, events hosted by external organizations including undergraduate colleges, student associations and clubs, professional conferences, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three (3) years of full-time work experience in admissions, college advising, college counseling, financial aid, financial literacy, or financial education. This could also include experience in complex sales.
- Experience interacting respectfully and helpfully with a diverse population of students and parents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in graduate admissions or centralized application systems
- One (1) year of experience in people management
- Experience creating collaborative relationships with students and successfully shepherding them through the application process efficiently and effectively.
