Job Description Summary
The School of Architecture and Design at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA seeks to fill multiple full-time Visiting Faculty positions for the Fall semester starting September of 2023 . Rank will be determined by the successful candidates’ previous experience, and these teaching appointments may be one or two semesters long. Visiting Faculty will be responsible for teaching assigned classes including undergraduate design studios, architectural history and theory, energy and environmental systems, structural design, adaptive reuse, and/or graduate research methods. Service to the school through participation in design reviews and committee work is expected as well.
Wentworth Institute of Technology is a private University with a 31-acre campus, conveniently located in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Our School of Architecture and Design has a NAAB -accredited Master of Architecture program as well as undergraduate Bachelor of Science programs in Architecture, Interior Design, and Industrial Design. We prepare students for the competitive workforce by offering hands-on, experiential learning and a two-semester cooperative education program.
