Financial Aid Assistant
About the Opportunity
SUMMARY:
The Graduate Financial Aid Assistant is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to students, applicants and their families seeking information and/or assistance via email, phone or in person from Student Financial Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- The Graduate Financial Aid Assistant also provides administrative and counseling support by assisting and resolving inquiries, contacting other university offices as needed
- Assisting with auditing of students' federal eligibility and aid awards.
- Responsible for the intake of financial aid paperwork and other disseminated materials for incoming and returning students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two years of related office experience. Familiarity with computer systems to include working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Knowledge and experience in customer service, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and ability to multi-task.
