The University of Indianapolis seeks applications for a Senior Assistant Director of Admission Operations. The Senior Assistant Director of Admission Operations provides leadership expertise for the multifaceted operational functions of the Office of Admissions to successfully meet university enrollment goals. The Senior Assistant Director develops proactive and nimble strategies to adjust to changing environments and trends in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), using best practices and current technological solutions to design the CRM to function to its highest ability.

Responsibilities
  • Hires, manages, coaches, and trains operations staff to achieve desired goals
  • Utilizes appropriate data and reports to manage workloads and evaluate performance
  • Sets clear expectations, reviews progress, and provides feedback and guidance, holding people accountable
  • Maintains overall efficiency and functionality in operations to ensure business practices align with institutional enrollment goals
  • Monitors work flow processes, data processing systems, and operations
  • Oversees the quality, consistency, and integrity of all admissions data and records within the student information system as well as the Office’s records management, retention, and confidentiality and security protocols and systems
  • Works with operations team to create an efficient and student focused experience
  • Looks for efficiencies and researches tools and techniques for new processes
  • Ensures the CRM system is used consistently and accurately by team members and looks for opportunities to enhance and expand the use of the CRM to help counselors build relationships and support enrollment goals and priorities
  • Designs CRM training plan and documentation
  • Oversees development of written documentation for all Admission operations
  • Successfully leads staff through change and growth
  • Reviews enrollment data relative to staff performance and adjusts staff responsibilities and projects to meet enrollment goals
  • Provides leadership in meeting or exceeding the enrollment targets
  • Serves as a key contact point for other campus offices that are key in admission activities including: Academic Departments, the Athletics Department, Financial Aid, Marketing & Communications, the Office of the Registrar, Advising, and others
  • Generates reports to support liaison relationships
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in higher education and demonstration of understanding and management experience with operations, information systems, and data analysis
  • CRM system experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience
  • Dependability, customer focus, initiative, and excellent communication skills required
