The Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Allied Health supports office and administrative duties, including organization, record keeping, and scheduling.
The Assistant to the Dean of Allied Health creates and maintains cross-departmental relationships supporting a culture of communication and successful teamwork.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Assists the Dean of Allied Health with preparing and submitting travel arrangements, expense reports, scheduling events, and requisitions.
Maintains record keeping including tracking faculty credentials, archiving schedules and maintaining student files.
Acts as scribe for faculty meetings, partnership meetings and other engagements as needed for accreditation and program records. Make room reservations.
Coordinates, prepares, and processes purchase orders for faculty classroom and office supplies.
Maintains knowledge of program workings and provide support to recruitment events as needed.
Tracks and verifies textbook orders, faculty class and office schedules, and syllabi completion.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree from an accredited institution required.
A minimum of two years of relevant office experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Demonstrated ability meet deadlines
Current technology proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other tools.
