Clinical Assistant Professor and Simulation Learning Coordinator

Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) seeks applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor and Simulation Learning Coordinator within the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences' (SoP&HS) Physician Assistant (PA) program. Faculty candidates should have a broad understanding of the practice of PA, able to teach various clinical topics and have additional expertise in simulation educational delivery methods.Effective teaching is the core mission of FDU. The FDU SoP&HS prepares future PAs and other health care professionals for diverse roles across the health care continuum through a culture of learning, scholarship, innovation, advocacy, and leadership. The school hosts additional health sciences disciplines including the following degree programs: Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Social Work (MSW), Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD), and post-professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (DOT).This faculty position is a full-time, 12-month appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, responsible for providing instruction to students in the clinical phase of the PA curriculum. The position also serves administrative duties as a Simulation Learning Coordinator, responsible for facilitating the simulation learning components of the didactic, clinical, and graduate phases of the program.
