Position Summary:

The Masters of Human Resources Program at Rollins College seeks to hire adjuncts for the 2022-2023 academic year. The Department seeks candidates with a strong commitment to teaching graduate human resources courses. Preference given to candidates with a terminal degree and/or prior masters level teaching experience. This is a continuous recruitment effort to develop an applicant pool that can fill in on an as-needed basis. Applications, letters of interest, and other supported materials will be reviewed as positions become available.

Teaching responsibilities include:
  • Teaching graduate students in a specific field of expertise
  • Developing and managing the class syllabus and ensuring that the syllabus meets department, program and college standards
  • Planning and creating lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments
  • Grading assigned papers, quizzes, and exams
  • Assessing grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments and examinations
  • Collaborating with department and program colleagues on course curriculum
  • Contributing to the program's Assurance of Learning efforts
  • Advising students on how to be successful in class
  • Late afternoon and/or evening course assignments will be required as part of this appointment

Minimum Qualifications and Education:
  • Ph.D. or Master's in the area of teaching
  • Verifiable teaching experience
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have the ability to teach in-person
