The Princeton Writing Program invites applications for Lecturers to teach topic-based, multidisciplinary Writing Seminars to first-year students. We seek applications from candidates with strong interests in writing pedagogy and from all fields of study in the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, engineering, and the arts. College-level teaching experience and the Ph.D. are expected. The typical teaching load is two Writing Seminars per term. As part of this teaching-intensive postdoctoral program, faculty benefit from regular pedagogy workshops and professional development opportunities. The initial appointment period is for one academic year, and may be renewable twice for a total of three academic years of appointment. Reappointed Lecturers may participate in a review process to be considered for an additional three-year term. The salary for full-time Lecturers will be a minimum of $75,200. Benefits-eligible full-time positions also include the opportunity to apply for research grants and travel grants. We strongly encourage women and members from underrepresented groups to apply. The application deadline for full consideration is January 15, 2023.
