E-learning Technologist (at the rank of Lecturer) in the Technology-Enriched Learning Initiative (TELI) (Ref.: 517192) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal on the basis of performance and funding availability.)

Applicants should have at least a higher degree in Educational Technology or a related field, with not less than 4 years' experience in teaching with/through technology and demonstrated experience in research and development in e-learning, preferably in higher education. They are also expected to have professional knowledge and experience with contemporary learning management systems and Web 3.0 applications, and have demonstrated ability to manage projects and work well with teachers.

The appointee will be responsible for working closely with teachers on the design and development of online teaching and learning materials (e.g., MOOCs, SPOCs, flipped/blended learning), delivering design-related e-learning workshops, and working in association with academic and technical staff to plan, design, develop, test and evaluate e-learning resources as the core part of a programme of study, and conduct analysis on learning metrics. The appointee will also be expected to research and identify new developments and next practices in e-learning (e.g., gamification, metaverse, AI, VR/AR/MR). Practical experiences in edutainment technologies will be an advantage, such as iOS and Android app development, and HTML5 web app development. It is also advantageous to have hands-on experience on using and developing data analysis and visualization tools.
