The Philosophy Department at DePaul University is hiring at the Assistant Professor level in feminist philosophy.  We are particularly interested in hiring a scholar able to teach and publish in areas such as: Black and other women of color feminisms, decolonial feminism, French feminism, Latin American feminism, and feminisms from the Global South. 

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who can contribute to our program in Continental Philosophy.  We are seeking someone who can complement our strengths in Latin American philosophy, psychoanalysis, phenomenology, history of philosophy, ethics, and political philosophy.

Candidates must hold a PhD or complete the PhD by September 1, 2023.

Our Philosophy Department currently has 14 members and offers the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees. Candidates must have a demonstrable proficiency in relevant languages and will be expected to teach in DePaul's general education program.
