CSM PROJECT MANAGER



Job Description

Our facilities team has an exciting opportunity for a hard charging person to join our Project Management Team. In this role you will be the primary interface with internal and external customers leading the design, delivery and execution of critical facility construction projects.

As a team member, you will have the autonomy to guide your projects and the opportunity to collaborate with interior design architects, exterior architects, landscape architects, mechanical and civil engineers, general contractors, and more. Our projects span the spectrum from classroom and office renovations and site improvements to large, complicated buildings and campus site development projects. Project budgets can range from $100K to over $3M.

You will provide turnkey project management including planning, fiscal oversight, team coordination, design supervision, construction administration for multiple design and construction projects. Prepare project schedules and complex capital project budgets. Monitor schedules and expenditures to assure compliance with capital improvement programs and do a great job so our students, staff, faculty, alumni and visitors can enjoy our awesome amenities
  • Provides professional architectural and/or engineering services and project management for design and construction projects.
  • Performs assignments and responsibilities of varying degrees of complexity and diversity
  • Provides perspectives that impact outcomes for the University utilizing both experience and expertise
  • Solves complex problems and analyses, taking a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information, determining gaps, providing recommendations, etc.
  • Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus
  • Collaborates with others inside and outside functional area and at times, externally

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday - Friday

Salary

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $63,860 - $85,000 Annually
Grade: GGS-012

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
