The Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago is an AACSB accredited institution. Quinlan’s undergraduate business program was ranked #1 in Chicago (U.S. News & World Report). It has approximately 2,000+ undergraduate and 500+ graduate students, 75+ full-time faculty and six endowed chairs. The School is located in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast, just west of Michigan Avenue and Chicago’s historical Water Tower. This location provides the School with close connections to Chicago financial and business communities. The School also operates academic and executive programs in Rome, Vietnam, and China, among other campuses. The School supports an undergraduate full-time and part-time program, an EMBA and other executive education programs, and several specialty masters programs including a Master of Science in Finance.

The Department of Finance at Loyola University Chicago invites applicants to apply for a clinical, non-tenure-track appointment in Finance department in the Spring 2023 semester. The teaching responsibility begins in early January through end of May 2023. The teaching load will be four courses in Spring 2023 semester. Applicants with previous teaching experience in Finance, as well as business experience, preferably in the Chicago metropolitan area, are preferred. Recent research activities in Finance or related fields are a plus.

The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses related to Finance. Specific course assignments might include Introduction to Finance and Introduction to Investments. The successful candidate will be a thought-leader in this dynamic evolving area and work with colleagues to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum.

Qualifications
Includes a minimum of an earned master’s degree in business administration, math/statistics, or a related field; leadership experience in business; and teaching experience. Although not required, a PhD and a record of recent research activities as defined by AACSB will be preferred. Qualified candidates must demonstrate teaching effectiveness, a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of the university.
