Job Description Summary
The University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School is one of the nation's oldest and most distinguished law schools. The Office of Communications leads the strategic planning and tactical execution of the Law School's internal and external communications. Communications focuses on digital strategy and print production, with services ranging from video and editorial content creation to photography, graphic design, event promotion, public relations, marketing, and social media management.

The Integrated Marketing Manager oversees the execution of marketing strategy across the digital ecosystem and is responsible for managing the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School's digital presence across channels. Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications, the incumbent will develop strategic and tactical components for reaching specific target markets by using different digital mediums and ensure that Penn Carey Law's brand strategy is considered in all marketing initiatives.

Job Description

  • Lead the strategic effort for the primary digital experience for Penn Carey Law and responsible for all proactive marketing, digital, and social properties. Plan and implement various complex multi-channel online advertising initiatives for all paid social and native advertising efforts and liaison between departments to develop innovative engagement strategies and integrated digital campaigns.
  • Serve as social media advisor and jointly develop and execute social media campaigns that engage target audiences. Play a tactical and strategic role during critical times to advise on reputation management to support the Institution's digital branding.
  • Collaborate with the Law School's Information Technology Services web team to oversee the Penn Carey Law website content and ensure is aligned with the Law School's institutional priorities with strict adherence to and consistency of site architecture, brand guidelines, and ADA compliance best practices. Incorporate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to strategically review and update existing content
  • Reinforce brand integration and facilitate consistency in messaging across digital platforms and content, including but not limited to email, native, social, and web stories to ensure the Penn Carey Law brand strategy is considered in all marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze end-user data and produce monthly campaign reports to provide strategic recommendations and optimizations. Articulate the value of analytics data and report on findings to key constituents.
  • Closely follow evolving digital trends and apply those into integrated marketing campaigns; provide insights on emerging opportunities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of a successful track record managing variety of social media and digital advertising platforms; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Track record of developing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns with a portfolio of work that demonstrates knowledge of broader marketing landscape.
  • Experience optimizing content for websites, social media, and advertising campaigns
  • A highly effective communicator with the ability to deliver creative content to diverse audiences. Must possess exceptional writing, a basic understanding of the complex legal landscape a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with reporting and analytics.
  • Ability to work collegially in a service-oriented environment, as well as managing projects independently according to firm deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating directly with senior-level administrators.
  • Deadline driven individual, with outstanding organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
