Position Summary:
The Executive Director will lead a team of seven professionals, five graduate assistants, and student staff members in providing a comprehensive and contemporary career center, serving students throughout their undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate years. Encompassing Career Development, Experiential Learning, Internship Advising, Student Employment, Employer & Alumni Connections, Career Explorations, and Career Advising, the Center for Career & Life Planning (CCLP) is poised to innovate and transform the ways in which career and life planning services, programs, and resources are delivered, further advancing the Rollins mission to “educate students for global citizenship and responsible leadership” as they go into the world prepared to “pursue meaningful lives and productive careers.”
With an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts education, the Executive Director will develop and implement programs, services, resources, and engagement opportunities that will support students as they explore and prepare for life and work through their chosen careers and vocational paths. The Executive Director will work with faculty and staff to integrate vocational exploration in the classroom and in other student-focused programs. Reporting to the Dean of Rollins Gateway, the Executive Director will provide visionary, innovative, and strategic leadership of CCLP in creating a proactive and forward-thinking resource for students, alumni, faculty, and staff that prepares Rollins students for purpose driven lives and meaningful careers.
