The Liberal Studies Department has a position open for an Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning in August 2023. Preferred candidates will have a strong interest in teaching and undergraduate education. Background in human development, educational psychology, counseling, community psychology, and/or cultural psychology is desired; however, individuals with related experience and interests are also encouraged to apply. Opportunities to work with the Landmark College Institute for Research and Training as well as the Center for Neurodiversity are anticipated for interested individuals.

Assistant professors are expected to be active community members in service to their students, departments, schools, and the College; to engage in scholarly work; and to pursue professional development. A terminal degree (e.g. Ph.D., Ed.D.) or commensurate experience is required. Teaching experience at the college level and familiarity with neurodiversity are also desirable.
