The Department of History and the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies
at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan are seeking
applicants for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position.
Duties will include teaching postsecondary courses in History and
Judaic Studies; conducting research in areas including social and
cultural history of Spain and the Hispanic world (14th-16th
centuries), women and the law, historical sociology, and the
history of Jews and conversos; and providing service to the
University. Applicants must possess a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree or
equivalent in History or a related field. Applicants should submit
a curriculum vitae to socialscienceshr@umich.edu. Covid-19
vaccinations, including booster, when eligible, are required by
start date. A background check is conducted upon acceptance of
