PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Duration of assignment is December 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023
SCHEDULE: Up to 20 hours per week
Flexible Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

REPORTS TO: Program Manager
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and delivers workshops about college exploration and readiness among incarcerated students
- Supports the design of college bridge programs for incarcerated students
- Supports incarcerated students with time management, study skills, accessing campus resources and other support through individual meetings
- Advises incarcerated students on registration, course selection, and major exploration and selection
- Facilitates enrollment and registration for incarcerated students into college courses and programs
- Tracks attendance, completion, and retention status and conducts data collection and analysis
- Conducts outreach, including developing and delivering presentations, to identify and recruit justice-impacted dual enrollment students and publicize the Center for Justice-Impacted Students
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- One year of relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and similar virtual conferencing
- Experience in academic advising or student support
- Experience in developing and facilitating workshops
- Experience working with incarcerated students
- Personal experience with navigating the criminal justice
system
