Be yourself and start your career here. Help us build a better Brockport! Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for an Academic Success Coordinator. This position is part of the state of the art Academic Success Center, which opened in 2017 in the center of the College at Brockport campus. Working with a team of dedicated, student-centered professionals in the center, the Academic Success Coordinator will develop and implement comprehensive programs and interventions to support the transition and ongoing academic and personal success of historically underrepresented groups. Specific priority populations for this position will be historically underrepresented and First Generation students. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • Experience working with students and/or student programs.
  • Experience using MS Office.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students and alumni.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • Experience planning culturally relevant programs for diverse populations.
  • Experience leading and establishing developmental training sessions and peer mentor programs.
  • Experience with student management/course management systems.
    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift, some nights and weekends Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $50,148. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
