QUALIFICATIONS: Waynesburg University seeks to fill a tenure-track position emphasizing the undergraduate student learning experience in a growing psychology program. The department invites candidates with applied psychological experience - PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required. Candidate must be state licensed, or eligible for licensure, with a minimum of 2 years of practicing experience and active licensure is encouraged. To round out the department faculty, specialty areas with adult mental health and development with Psychoanalytic, Phenomenological, Cognitive or Humanistic orientations are encouraged.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities of this position include teaching primarily undergraduate-level courses; advising psychology majors academically, professionally, and vocationally; shared supervision of students in internship experiences; and providing service to the department and the University. The position will be responsible for teaching courses required of the major such as Personality, Psychobiology, Psychotherapy, Abnormal Psychology, but because many non-majors take elective psychology courses, there is room to teach electives and potential special topics based on candidate expertise.
