CCC Clinical Supervisor



Job Summary

The Community Counseling Center (CCC) at Florida Gulf Coast University in the Marieb College of Health and Human Services is in need of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida to serve as the CCC Clinical Supervisor on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (4 hours) when school is in session (approximately 40 weeks/year) and one hour of supervision/consultation with the CCC Director for a total of 5 hours weekly.

Job Description

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
  • Be physically present at the CCC 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays while school is in session (approximately 40 weeks/year).
  • Process client payments for services.
  • Be available for consultation with master’s level counseling interns as needed.
  • Be available for crisis intervention as needed.
  • Regularly consult (1 hour/week) with the CCC Director.
Other Duties:
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a licensed as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Possess knowledge of clinic operational procedures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to intervene appropriately when client crises arise.
  • Creating a welcoming and supportive environment for clients.
  • Possess knowledge and skills of clinical supervision.
  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize client payment and client appointment software programs.
