Clinical Education Director, Physician Assistant Program

This is a full-time 12-month Director of Clinical Education for the new Physician Assistant Program. The position will oversee all aspects of the clinical phase of the program and participate in didactic instruction, admissions, advising, and assessment. The Director of Clinical Education will be responsible for developing and coordinating all clinical practicum experiences for matriculating graduate students; collaborating with the program director in designing the clinical curriculum; designing opportunities for clinical educator training; securing and maintaining accreditation standards related to clinical education; and engaging in clinical teaching. Additionally, the Clinical Director will coordinate the creating of unique clinical teaching-learning opportunities for students, such as service learning activities, and experiential learning. This is a 12 month full-time position with administration responsibilities and reports to the Program Director.
