Program Director, Physician Assistant Program

The position of Program Director is for a new Physician Assistant (PA) program. This is a 12-month tenure-track faculty position (open rank commensurate with experience) with significant administrative responsibilities. The Director of PA Program is responsible for the organization, management, fiscal management, continuous review and analysis, and planning and implementation of Physician Assistant Program. The Director of the PA Program will be responsible for developing the curriculum for the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and ensuring the initial accreditation of the program through the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The Director will be responsible for developing clinical sites, adding faculty and program staff, coordinating program assessment, and maintaining ARC-PA accreditation. The Director will work with Admission and Marketing and Communication to recruit students to the program. The position reports to the Dean of the Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences.
