The Opportunity:

We are excited to be finding a new member of our expanding team! Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) - Daytona Beach campus is searching for a STEM Post-Doctoral Associate position beginning as early as January 2023.

This is a full-time, 12-month appointment, with a 3-year expected reappointment. The STEM Associate will primarily support CTLE's GTA Academy, our teacher training program for graduate teaching assistants at Daytona Beach campus. The STEM Associate will also have opportunities to pursue their professional research interests and initiate and collaborate with our team on a number of educational development programs. Candidates with expertise in quantitative data analysis, mixed methods, research, and equity-focused educational development will receive preference.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess these minimum qualifications:
  • Completion of a doctoral degree in a STEM or a STEM-Education field by start date.
  • Experience working with teachers-in-training
  • Knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices in STEM
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Our campus has experienced tremendous growth in student enrollment over the past several years and has supported this growth by expanding our Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence.
