Assistant/Associate Professor - Psychology Full-time Angola, Indiana
Summary

The Department of Psychology and Social Sciences invites applications for a full-time assistant/associate professor position. We are seeking a candidate who is committed to undergraduate instruction -- flexible, creative, and energetic with a strong desire to see students succeed. Candidates with a background in any area of psychology are urged to apply. Trine University does not offer tenure, but contracts are renewed annually, and faculty retention is outstanding.

Essential Duties and  Responsibilities 

  • Teach a broad range of undergraduate courses in psychology.
  • Advise students majoring in psychology.
  • Provide service to the University by serving on committees, advising student groups, and assisting with departmental initiatives, etc.

Work together with the department chair and faculty on program assessment, course and program development, and student recruitment.

Education and/or Experience

The ideal candidate will have expertise in and the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the field of psychology.  A doctoral degree in psychology is preferred.  Candidates with master’s degrees will also be considered.
