Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

We are looking to hire a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, this position is paid a stipend and will cover graduate school classes. The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will help facilitate our varsity weight room, which is affectionately known as, “The Dawg Pound.” These team members will collaborate with sport coaches and the sports medicine staff to tailor, manage and recap training programs as well as assist with the Nutrition Operation. Team assignments will be determined upon hiring. These individuals will also assist with the football S&C program and have other supervisory roles as assigned. Schedule will be flexible but dictated by team schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have at least two years' experience with sole responsibility of NCAA team sport training facilitation (graduated assistantships across all populations count towards this). Additionally, a four-year degree and a S&C-specific certification (CSCS, SCCC, USAW). Strong interpersonal communication, technological literacy and organizational skills must be demonstrated during the interview process. Current CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with TeamBuildr is desired. Experience with tracking and data collection is also preferred.
