Job Responsibilities:

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is seeking an Assistant Director of Compliance and Business in the Athletics department. This role is responsible for supporting the athletics' compliance office. Will work to ensure compliance with NCAA and SoCon rules and regulations, as well as support the business manager with financial transactions and reconciliations.

• Responsible duties such as; official and unofficial visits, coding of students, management of NCAA paperwork, team meetings, transfer, summer school coordination, assisting with compliance education, recruiting calendar, updating compliance policies as well as handbooks.
• Works with the Business Manager on the following; credit card reconciliations, entering in requisitions, calling vendors, collecting receipts and reconciliations.
• Working as a liaison to the ticket office; assisting with player pass lists, handling team ticket requests and assisting with football game day player pass lists and ticket distributions.
• Will handle full Scholarship Books, to include; generating book lists, acting as a liaison with bookstore staff, handling book returns at the end of the semester, reconciliation of book lists and receipts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's degree. Must have working knowledge of windows-based applications. Willing to learn and adhere to NCAA and SoCon rules and regulations. Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior compliance experience. Previous experience with state procurement and purchasing laws. Work experience in a collegiate athletic department.
