Position Summary Information
Position Summary
Responsibilities include teaching a full-time graduate load of courses (3 courses per semester). Master’s and Doctoral level teaching may include, but is not limited to the following courses: Programs, Trainings, and Workshops; Students in American HE, HE Institutions and Issues. Other responsibilities include working on Department committees and projects, and coordinating Department procedures and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Higher Education, Counselor Education, or closely related area of study required. Must have familiarity with and teaching experience in student affairs/higher education and counseling related coursework. Must have familiarity in teaching master’s and doctoral level courses. Must demonstrate a commitment to the education of diverse populations. Perceived ability to work productively with students and colleagues is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional work experience in Student Affairs/Higher Education settings.
