Job Description:
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for collecting, organizing, and recording all paper and electronic financial aid documents as they are received in the financial aid office. This position records the receipt of documents, enters and updates the relevant document fields within the PowerFaids system, and files documents in the appropriate folders. In addition, the Date Entry Clerk will also update tax fields in PowerFaids to reflect the most recent tax information.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming mail and documents
- Record the receipt of documents in PowerFaids
- Review the online financial aid documents to upload the database and update them daily
- Update financial aid application status in PowerFaids for individual applicants to reflect the application status based on documents received as needed
- Enter and lock in parent tax information in PF for the current year
- Assist with creating and managing student files
- Assist with printing Profiles and Non- Custodial Profiles
- Assist with filing/organizing student award letters
Minimum Pay: $16.25 - Pay Commensurate with Experience
Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. This position requires strong multitasking skills. Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and provide responses in writing. Must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and possess strong organizational skills. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently, as well as to communicate and interact effectively in a professional, confidential, and courteous manner with faculty, staff, and students. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
