Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences ( JSMBS ), is recruiting a faculty member at either the Assistant or Associate or Full Professor rank to participate in our expansion of clinical, teaching and research activities in underserved communities in the Buffalo area.

- Collaborate with clinicians and investigators in our department and nationally in developing novel clinical initiatives and outcome studies of those initiatives for underserved populations.
- Facilitate research in genetic studies of previously unstudied populations.
- Participate in teaching residents, fellows and students.
- Develop approaches to interacting systems of care and gaps in current services.
- Work with existing community agencies and advocacy groups.

- MD, DO or equivalent degree
- Board certified in psychiatry
- Previous published experience in community psychiatry
