Primary Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and/or information systems
  • Participate in course and curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation
  • Advise students and provide service to the department, college, and university


Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, computer information systems, or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government-certified university (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government-certified university).
  • Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence
  • Demonstrated potential for providing effective service to the department, college, and university
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
  • Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multicultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
