The Department of Multidisciplinary Masters Degree programs, College of Engineering, invites applications for the Part-Time Lecturer position for teaching selected graduate courses in the Multidisciplinary MS Degree programs at the Arlington Virginia Campus. Responsibilities include preparation of lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluation of student performance in the course.

The Multidisciplinary Masters Degree suite of degree programs in Arlington Virginia include:

MS in Software Engineering Systems is at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and business complexity with an emphasis on the art and science of designing intricate software applications especially in the areas of healthcare, security and privacy, auditing and compliance, business improvement and intelligence, as well as financial accountability. Courses include programming best practices, algorithm design, cloud computing, machine learning and AI, real-time 3D graphics, etc.

The Master of Science in Software Engineering Systems prepares our graduates for a world of software applications. This innovative multidisciplinary program is designed to meet the demand for a new kind of software engineer, one who can engineer and develop new quality systems quickly. We thrive to produce more effective software engineers who are substantially more capable than ever of addressing the needs of digital society in terms of time, cost, and quality.

Qualifications:

M.S. or Ph.D. in relevant engineering discipline is required; some professional and/or teaching experience preferred. Must have strong, effective verbal skills to communicate well with students.
