Position Purpose
The Program Coordinator is a Project Manager/Administrative Coordinator supporting all aspects of the Dean of the College/Student Affairs Central Office. With minimal supervision, the Program Coordinator provides fiscal, human resources, advancement, and administrative project support, builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, plans and implements events, manages complex scheduling and meeting preparation needs, prepares reporting materials, and provides administrative support for other functions and priorities, as necessary.

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Five years of relevant executive support and project management experience in a fast-paced, highly demanding, and complex organization
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent administrative, project management, event planning, and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accurate attention to detail.
• High degree of flexibility, including the ability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• High degree of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and tact.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Dartmouth driver certification.
• Ability to anticipate collaborative needs of a diverse organizational structure.
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated proficiency with Dartmouth’s fiscal, advancement, and information management systems, including Oracle, OnBase, and Advance preferred.
• Previous experience in higher education organization preferred.

Description
Fiscal & Human Resources Projects–
- Works independently and with the Director of Fiscal Management & Human Resources, providing fiscal and human resources transactional support, project management, reporting and analysis support.
- Manages projects assigned by the Director.
- Drafts and revises position descriptions and validates budget funding for posting, reclassifying, and equity review actions within the DORR Human Resources system; then prepares associated entries to the Personnel Action system.
- Reviews transactions, submits reimbursements, and is a source of information on Dartmouth policies and compliance.
- Researches, evaluates, and reports budget to actual activity to department leaders using the IRA financial reporting system and MS-Excel.
- Provides budget guidance and advice to department leaders when and where necessary.

Works independently and with the Associate Dean of Student Affairs, manages projects as assigned, provides reporting and stewardship support, including gift and endowment activity reporting and draft correspondence.

Dean of the College Administration-
- Works independently and with the Dean of the College’s Executive Assistant to ensure smooth operation of the Dean of the College central office and shared projects.
- Plans, manages and evaluates meeting and event requirements and logistics, including forums and ceremonies, hosted by the Dean of the College and/or divisional management team.
- Manages projects assigned by the Dean and provides admin support as necessary.
- Reserves necessary event space, negotiates with the appropriate vendors, and manages the meeting or event.
