Position Summary

This position provides calendaring, travel, and document routing support for the Dean; coordinates operations for the School of Education; and provides budgetary support for the School of Education.

Duties/Responsibilities

Manage Dean’s calendar; Assist with Dean’s meeting/event preparations; Route forms for signature; Make, document, and reconcile purchases; Process travel documents; Arrange for affiliate hire payments; Manage copiers and printers; Ensure appropriate faculty and staff door access; Enter facilities/housekeeping work requests; Assist with operational process of on/off-boarding of SOE employees; Coverage of Dean’s Office front desk during gaps in student worker coverage; Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
  • Experience working in collaboration with supervisors, co-workers and vendors, as well as working independently
  • Experience working under rules of confidentiality in an office environment
  • Experience creating reports and meeting deadlines
  • Must possess ability to organize and pay attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in a higher education setting
  • Experience applying accounting policies, processes, and procedures
Work Hours

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; possibility for remote work on 1-2 days (to be negotiated with finalist)
