The Laboratory Instructor conducts and teaches the laboratory sections of the introductory physics courses, in close coordination with the course instructors. Education/Skills Requirements
Requires an undergraduate degree in Physics, master’s degree preferred. Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
Evidence of experience with the operation of a teaching physics laboratory is essential. Must have experience with modern electronic instrumentation, including interfacing with laboratory computers. Instructor should have excellent oral and written communication skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and a demonstrated ability to successfully provide individual and group instruction with a sensitivity to different learning styles and challenges.
