We are seeking an Enrollment Operations Assistant to work remotely on a full-time 37.5-hour per week basis. 

Summary

Under general direction, the Enrollment Operations Assistant II serves as a senior and lead Enrollment Operations Assistant. The Enrollment Operations Assistant II is expected to understand and perform any of the functions of the Enrollment Operations Assistant I position. The incumbent serves as a lead worker and provides training to staff in the unit. This position reports to the Enrollment Operations & Technology Manager. 

 

The Enrollment Operations Assistant II acts as the primary point of contact for students regarding the processing of admission applications and enrollment documents. The Enrollment Operations Assistant II is responsible for accurate and timely data entry of application and enrollment materials within the university’s software solutions, including EnrollmentRx/Salesforce and Ellucian Colleague. Additionally, the Enrollment Operations Assistant II reviews transcripts, supports the application review process, and helps incoming students complete enrollment and make initial payments. The Enrollment Operations Assistant II answers questions regarding university policies and procedures related to admissions, financial aid, and enrollment, and coordinates with other student services areas. 

 

The position requires strong data entry skills across multiple databases, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to consistently follow procedures, and the ability to communicate clearly via phone and email to provide effective customer service.  The ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on stated deadlines is also necessary.

        

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and training. A minimum of two years of experience in a front-line customer-relations position, including office experience with data entry and database usage, as well as high volumes of email communications.  

 

Preference will be given to applicants with Ellucian Colleague or Salesforce experience in a higher education setting, particularly with Enrollment Rx or TargetX, supporting marketing, recruitment, and/or student service. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess a professional, collaborative, and upbeat approach to their work. Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines are all essential to success in the role. This position will require a high attention to detail and to ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive data. Applicants should have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and database applications.
