The Greehey School of Business at St. Mary’s University invites applications for an assistant professor of Marketing with a start date of August 2018. The desired applicant should hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent terminal degree from an AACSB accredited University with major concentration in areas related to Marketing with a focus on digital and social marketing, marketing analytics, web analytics and related fields. ABD will be considered.

The position is housed in the Management Department of the Greehey School of Business. The Department has 14 full-time faculty who serve three majors. The marketing major is one of the fastest growing majors in the School. The School recently undertook a major revision of its curriculum and the revised curriculum includes a new track in Digital Marketing, which will be served by this position. Faculty in the department also teach core courses common to all business majors.  At the graduate level, faculty members provide instruction to students enrolled in the School’s two MBA programs. 

The Greehey School of Business is AACSB accredited.  At the undergraduate level, it offers a BBA with majors in Accounting, Accounting and Data Analytics, Finance & Risk Management, Management, Marketing, and International Business.  It also offers has a track in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. At the graduate level, the school offers an 18-month cohort based Greehey MBA, and an MBA for Professionals (MBAP) which starts in fall 2017. Class sizes are small with an average faculty to student ratio of 1:17. San Antonio is one of the top ten fastest growing cities in the country with the San Antonio-Austin corridor being described as the “New Major Metropolis” by major news media. The School has an excellent reputation for academic quality and a very successful alumni base that is engaged with the School and the University.
