As part of the Workforce Development Community, our work specializes working with participants that are receiving public assistance to attain necessary skills for employment. Our employment and training programs are designed to help people develop their skill set and position them to be competitive for family wage jobs. We help participants with their educational needs and have established fantastic relationships with local training providers and employers. This helps provide our customers the tools and resources needed to achieve their career goals. In this role, you will work with a highly experienced team of professional staff who provide life changing services. This position provides support to a wide diversity of clients making positive changes in their lives and economic futures.

High school diploma or equivalent and varied experience/educational requirements depending on the level of job within the job family. Requires keyboarding, filing, math, and/or ten-key skills. A working knowledge of word processing, data base, and/or spreadsheet applications is required. Must have good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to maintain accurate records, use standard office machines such as fax, telephone, and copy machines, convey a variety of information to clients, staff, and the public. Two years of related experience plus one year of college-level course work in job-related area. Experience performing the duties of the job for one year may substitute for the college-level course work.
Preferred Qualifications
Applies job skills and policies and procedures to complete a wide range of difficult tasks. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and in making routine recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments. Two years of related experience plus one year of college-level course work in job-related area. Experience performing the duties of the job for one year may substitute for the college-level course work. Senior level for this job family; fully competent.
Position Grade 16 Starting Salary Expectations The first two steps of the range are:$41,085 to $42,313 per year. Higher salary placement may be available based on qualifications, experience and internal equity. Position Grade Salary Range $41085 to $65924 Annual Salary FTE 1 PCC Benefits

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Work is generally performed in an office setting. May be exposed to a video display for long periods. Work pressure and disturbances of work flow typically occur. May need to travel to various facilities.
Learned physical skill may be necessary to perform keyboarding. Occasional lifting, guiding, and/or carrying of light-weight materials or equipment may be required. May be necessary to stand or walk on a routine basis Background Check Required Yes
