The University of Dayton seeks a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a Regional Enrollment Manager for Chicago, IL and being based in greater Chicagoland. This is a regional, 12-month position that will be expected to visit the University of Dayton campus two to three times during an academic year. A successful candidate seeks connection with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, manages multiple tasks and projects, and approaches challenges with resilience and innovation.

The Regional Enrollment Manager- Chicago joins a successful regional team in Chicagoland and will continue to strengthen the knowledge of UD with prospective students, parents, high school counselors, community partners, and alumni through college fairs, high school visits, virtual appointments, phone, and email, as well as specialized and unique marketing programs in Chicago, IL. The Regional Enrollment Manager will advise students and families on the value of a University of Dayton experience, and the admission and financial aid process through group presentations, individual interviews, and virtual/phone/email communication. The selected candidate will develop a recruitment strategy for the assigned territory, the city of Chicago, southern suburbs, and some tertiary markets, review and analyze data, evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activities, and determine the need for additional efforts. High energy and flexibility are necessary for this position as there are significant overnight, evening, and weekend hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of at least one year of experience in college admission, financial aid, student services, high school counseling or teaching, or college access organizations.
Must be self-motivated
Experience working with families and students of diverse backgrounds
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Ability to connect with prospective students and families, from our diversified recruitment channels, through telecounseling, emails and virtual appointments.
Valid drivers license with low risk driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Two or more years working in college admission and financial aid.
An appreciation for Catholic and Marianist principles of education and values.
Excellent oral communication, public speaking, and relationship management skills.
Ability to demonstrate strategic relationships and/or programs to showcase the value of a UD experience.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.

The University will continue to monitor the state of the pandemic on campus and in the community as well as developments in federal and state requirements, and also will continue to regularly consult with public health officials and our medical panel. As has been the case throughout the pandemic, our protocols and requirements are subject to change depending on conditions on campus or in our community, and government requirements.
