Assistant Professor (nontenure-track) Protein Target Evaluation and Screening.
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Center for Biomolecular Therapeutics (CBT) are recruiting a scientist with experience in discovery and development of small molecules, biologics, and cellular therapeutics. Successful candidates should have experience in a broad range of fields including biochemistry, structural biology, protein chemistry, and molecular and cellular biology. Duties will include lab management, fragment-based screening, immunoassay development, fluorescence (intensity, polarization, FRET, TR-FRET, luminescence), protein-protein and protein-ligand binding assay development and oversight of laboratory automation systems.
The successful candidate will also be part of the Molecular and Structural Biology (MSB) Program and the Structural Biology Shared Service (SBSS) in the Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (GCCC), which are located at the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus.
