Alumni Engagement seeks temporary worker to support office and the SUNY Cortland Alumni Engagement.

The Assistant for Alumni Engagement will process Alumni Association budget tasks inclusive of coding, deposits, refunds, money market account, salaries, Parks Alumni House transactions and Alumni Association committee budgets. The assistant will ensure staff is compliant with budget processes, provide budget updates monthly to executive director and board, and work with Assistant Director of Financial Services to provide quarterly budget reports and balance statements. The assistant will contact affiliated departments to request revenue and expense updates.

The assistant will also support the inventory process and with alumni acknowledgments and correspondence, alumni departmental and group requests, packaging and event material correlation and distribution. The assistant will serve as backup to Alumni Engagement secretary as needed. Major Responsibilities

Reports to the Executive Director. Provides support to the Associate Director, Assistant Director, Team Coordinator, Event Assistant and Secretary.
Works with Parks Alumni House staff, members of Institutional Advancement. the SUNY Cortland Alumni Association Board of Directors and SUNY Cortland alumni Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree
Demonstrated marketing experience
Customer service experience
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
Familiarity with budgets Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated professional experience in higher education Alumni engagement experience
Marketing experience
