Description

Ball State University is seeking applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position in Mathematical Sciences, beginning August 19, 2022.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate in mathematics education, or closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment, with at least 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in mathematics content and/or mathematics pedagogy; current or previous K-12 teaching licensure or certification; at least two years of K-12 teaching experience.

Authorization to work in the US

Employer will consider sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in mathematics education and a bachelor’s degree or higher in a mathematical science from an accredited institution and by date of appointment; experience or interest in teaching online courses; experience implementing and teaching culturally sustaining pedagogy; scholarship relevant to mathematics education; experience or interest in partnering with public schools.
