The Lenoir-Rhyne University College of Business and Economics seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Appointment begins August 2023.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Teaching responsibilities include coursework for both undergraduate and graduate students in the fall and spring. Terminal degree in Management or a closely related field is required (ABD will be considered).

Preferred candidates will possess credentials and experience in Management, with a preference for candidates with Strategic Management and Business Policy expertise. Teaching may include courses in Strategic Management, Policy, and other Management related courses. Evidence of exemplary college teaching experience, the ability to develop and deliver courses utilizing online and other non-traditional pedagogies is required. Successful candidates will display a commitment and capacity for teaching excellence, student mentorship, collaborative work and scholarly and professional engagement.

The College of Business and Economics provides contemporary knowledge and practical skills that prepare students for a successful business career. The college offers 14 undergraduate degrees: accounting, finance, international business, general management, human resource management, project management, supply chain management, marketing, professional sales, entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, economics and international economics.
