The Interim Assistant Registrar participates as a member of a team within the Office of the Registrar, working with the Interim Associate Registrar in maintaining student and curricular processes. This position will engage with virtually all office policies and processes in support of the office’s mission to create, maintain, and protect the academic records of current and former students. The Interim Assistant Registrar will collaborate with the Interim Associate Registrar and others in the office in using careful attention to detail to perform processes and procedures related to course registration, the recording of credit and grades, forms creation and management, evaluating transfer credit, recording enrollment status changes, managing degree certifications and supporting some committee work. The individual in this role must be flexible and able to turn their attention to unexpected tasks quickly.

This is an interim position, with a term appointment expected to end October 31, 2025

Salary Range for this position is expected to be: Minimum $70,000 – Maximum $75,000

Education/Skills Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Also required: superior organizational skills with great attention to detail; must be flexible, adaptable and able to multitask under pressure and constant deadlines; must be able to take initiative and move ahead with projects independently while using excellent judgement in decision – making; superior, professional customer service skills with students, faculty, staff and others associated with the College; and must abide by rules of confidentiality. The Interim Assistant Registrar demonstrates a willingness and ability to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies, business processes, and procedures; strong reasoning, analytical, and communication skills; the flexibility to handle some level of ambiguity while participating in the refinement and definition of new business processes; the willingness to contribute to any office process during periods of peak demand. Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
Experience in records administration, preferably using a student information system; understanding of principles of data management; experience with data systems and multiple data/reporting tools; skilled with standard office software packages and standard query tools. Preferred: Experience with Workday Student or Ellucian Banner Student administration, ODS, Cognos, DegreeWorks, Workflow, Qualtrics and/or content management tools.

Preferred experience: Experience in a higher education environment. Experience with databases and managing communications between technical and non-technical audiences. Experience developing reports and knowledge of reporting and analytical tools such as Tableau and Cognos. Standard Work Days and Hours
Typical hours are 8:30 – 5:00 Monday – Friday. Some evenings/weekends may be required. This is an exempt position requiring time commitment necessary to satisfactorily complete job requirements.
