The Department of Criminal Justice at High Point University invites applications for a full-time faculty member; rank and track to be determined via credentials and experience of the applicant. This position may begin as early as January of 2023, or in August of 2023. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph. D. in criminal justice or a closely related field; Ph. D. students who are ABD will be considered. Preference given to applicants with the ability and experience to teach these courses: corrections, juvenile justice system, the death penalty, violent crime, intro to the U.S. justice system. Duties include teaching three courses per semester, performing departmental and university service, and scholarship/research.
