Director of Student Placement and Clinical Experiences

Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Education, the Director of Student Placement and Clinical Experiences (Director IV) directs the student field placement process; collaborates in the development of teacher candidates; manages the creation of school partnerships for this purpose; collaborates and supports tracking of assessment outcomes in support of accreditation; supervises clinical lecturers and field supervisors; and performs related work as required. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and two years of public school experience as a teacher or administrator is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Candidate must have knowledge of NJ professional standards; proficiency in technology including, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience in an institution of higher education is a plus.
