Position Summary
The Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations reports to the Executive Director of Development and Advancement Services and is a senior fund raising officer responsible for all phases of planning, operation and management of campus-wide program for promoting, developing and increasing foundation and corporate support for the University’s academic and campaign priorities. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Seven years experience with fund raising or related experience required, with at least three years demonstrated success in securing major foundation and corporate grants/gifts
Experience working with diverse populations
Successful performance in an interview and passing a criminal background check Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred
Extensive proposal development/management experience
Experience working with both senior-level officers and volunteers
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to analyze and manage competing priorities in a complex environment
Management experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
Ability and willingness to travel; should have an established professional presence in Pittsburgh and the region
Knowledge of prospect management systems and fund raising software preferred
