45% Coordinates and manages processes for teacher education majors, including but not limited to clinical placements (pre-student teaching), student teaching field placements, the e-Portfolio (Tk20), applications and admissions, COEHS background checks.

30% Advise students during the admissions to PEP process and after admissions in matters related to program requirements. Assists the Associate Dean in assigning advisors to all COEHS students. Organizes and leads new student orientation and PEP admissions meetings.

10% Manages teachered@uwosh.edu e-mail account. Coordinates student advisory group and two student events each semester.

10% In conjunction with the Associate Dean, oversee recruiting initiatives, including creating marketing materials, networking, and increasing enrollments.

5% Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

• Highly organized

• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills

• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of records and personal information

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree

• Experience advising undergraduate students

• Familiarity with teacher licensing

• Experience in higher education or K-12 schools

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Self-directed with ability to work independently

• Comfortable with data and course management platforms
