About the Opportunity

The Senior Assistant Director of Admission for the Global Network and Pathway Recruitment will directly support the undergraduate admissions office to achieve Northeastern's goals and priorities through leading and teaching best practices regarding customer service, knowledge, and evaluation. This person will collaborate with Admissions Leadership to develop the building, selection, and customer service for students across Northeastern's Global Network.. This position will liaise with campus partners to ensure best practices with regard to our processes that impact various student populations. This person will work closely with the Associate Director of International and Pathway Recruitment and the Associate Director of Admission for Evaluation to advise and conduct student application evaluation. As a territory manager, traditional responsibilities include: travel to attract and subsequently enroll students; develop and implement targeted programming efforts and activities; manage a territory throughout the admission cycle; evaluate freshman and transfer applicants for admission; counsel and advise students and families regarding the admission process; conduct interviews and presentations; and establish, develop and maintain relationships with guidance counselors and transfer advisors while marketing the University effectively. This position will work closely with other University offices and programs, as well as with appropriate off-campus agencies and services. The Senior Assistant Director will conduct the role with the highest degree of professionalism, ensuring that the Northeastern brand and image are accurately conveyed.

Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree preferred, with 3-6 years of relevant experience required. Strong presentation, process management, detail orientation, organizational skills, analysis, data interpretation, interpersonal skills, and the ability to understand the big picture required. The ability to apply discretion and independent judgment is critical. Knowledge of higher education issues related to the recruitment, admission and enrollment of international students required. Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills. Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record, and the ability to lift 30 pounds in order to move recruitment materials. A successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, who actively contributes to the office welfare in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across units and is sensitive and responsive to the needs of diverse constituencies is required.
