Job Details

Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus is now accepting applications for Grant Data Coordinator, GEAR UP Grant. The Grant Data Coordinator manages the collection and processing of the grant student’s data and statistics with the purpose of submitting reports to the appropriate entities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements databases for students’ data collection using MS and Access and SQL
  • Prepares and submits accurate reports to the grant director for submission to the appropriate entities
  • Prepares and submits students’ data to the grant director for billing purposes
  • Reviews data from students’ files and reconciles with the data in the database
  • Maintains program computers inventory and other MS Access databases
  • Develops transaction logging, back-up, and security features
  • Resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues
  • Trains staff on the use of the database and other software utilized to provide information about the program’s participants
  • Interacts with school and community partners for interpretation and timely receipt of periodic data

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of relevant work experience; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and six (6) years of relevant work experience
