Full/Associate Professor of Philosophy
The School of Humanities invites outstanding academics to apply for a faculty position in philosophy at the rank of full professor or associate professor. Candidates should possess a distinguished track record of publications. The area of specialization and competence are open. But candidates must have research that falls within the digital humanities (broadly construed) and be able to contribute to research goals in the digital humanities.
The successful applicant is expected to provide academic leadership in the subject area of Philosophy within the School of Humanities and to engage actively in research, teaching, and service. The successful applicant is also expected to help further the University’s research goals in the digital humanities. NTU’s philosophy programme has particular strengths in ethics and Chinese philosophy. It offers a Major and Minor in Philosophy. It is a post-graduate degree conferring programme, with both MA and PhD students.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
